I've got two versions of this which I drew back in 1993. Prior to these drawings I had traced a lot of Disney characters but only drawn a few and none of those were as difficult as this one so I was very happy at the time I completed this. The first is just pencil and the second is color done with Prismacolor pencils.
Perhaps I should have done the flames on this version as well.
I remember when you used to trace. So, have you drawn everything, or almost everything, since 1993? I assumed a lot of your visuals were still traced.
ReplyDelete1993 was when my time for artistic endeavors really tapered off so I didn't do a lot of drawing at all. With the exception of a few character pieces I did for cast member initiatives I think I stopped drawing (or tracing) Disney characters altogether. Many of the "real people" drawings were and still are traced though I'm hesitant to use that word. It's not like tracing a line drawing of a character. In the "real people" pictures concious decisions have to be made as to what parts of a photo translate into a line, where do you shade, how do I turn this into a line drawing and still make it recognizable as the person it's supposed to represent (and there have been successes, failures, and everthing inbetween in this respect).
