Well, 2016 was a really rough year for me. It was the worst year I can remember. I suffer from severe depression and last year it was more frequent and more intense than ever before. Most days it I don't know how I even got out of bed. Some changes have got to be made this year to relieve some of the triggers that tend to make it worse. Top of that list is a new job, one that I don't despise. A close second is getting back into some creative work. I've been virtually devoid of any creative outlet in the last year.
All this isn't saying that I didn't have some great times last year. All is not negative. I just need more of that this year instead of despair (preferably achieving this without any medication).
Happy New Year.

I recently vacationed in beautiful southern California. While the main reasons for my trip were to visit a good friend, go to Disneyland, and do some Architectural photography, I managed to find time to see a few natural spots as well. I'm very glad this was one of them.
