We'll take a break today from our hike down the mountain and check out some captive creatures of the wild.

Music Video Titles
From the summer of 1990 through the summer of 1993 some friends and myself essentially had our own video production group. We spent our time creating music videos, tv shows and other things of that kind. We made about 120 music videos. These are a few of the titles I created for them.

The Monkey's Uncle
I like it when different passions of mine cross over into each other. In 1993 amid a particularly busy time making music videos, we decided to make a video for Annette Funicello's song "The Monkey's Uncle" from the film of the same name. Since I was the only person familiar with the song I was elected to be Annette. To maintain the cross dressing theme, friends Tracie and Barbie lip synced the backing vocals by the Beach Boys. In 2009 I created a graphic which would be like a 45RPM record cover.
The monkey graphic was inspired by the Barrel of Monkeys toy.

LB-69's Album Covers
The LB-69's were a fictitious musical group comprised of a rotating group of friends and myself in high school and after. We never actually did any singing but restricted ourselves to making music videos for popular (and sometimes not so popular) songs. The name is based on the B-52's who were a huge influence on us in the late 80's and early 90's and our own group, the Lunch Bunch. For the first sixteen or so videos I created artwork as if for 45rpm singles. I also created album artwork for the six albums worth of songs that we made videos for over a four year period. In 2009 I digitally recreated the album covers and that's what I'm posting today. I was going to post the original hand drawn versions from the early 90's as well but they're packed away somewhere.
