For the first time in ages, we ventured out to the Gator Pits, aka Loyce E. Harpe Park, yesterday for some hiking. We only saw eight alligators but even with the blistering heat and humidity, it was nice to be out of the house.
These trails are actually used for off road biking and some of them are quite steep and terrifying. I have a hard enough time navigating them on foot and can't imagine careening down one on a bicycle (this is way steeper than it appears).
The super rare Aluminum Can Tree.
This was a tiny little snake. I thought someone had lost a shoelace.
People are assholes!
