Bay Area Renaissance Festival

Back in high school my friends and I had a club that was medieval/renaissance themed.  We always talked about going to a renaissance festival but never made it to one.  This weekend, thanks to some free tickes, I finally went.  It was everthing I expected and more.  I quickly got past the over-the-top-geeky factor and really enjoyed myself.  All I need now is a nice codpiece to wear next year!
